Our wedding will take place on January 9 at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort (2000 N Ocean Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33305). The only resort sitting directly on Fort Lauderdale Beach, with the Atlantic as our backdrop

FAQ

  • Is this an Indian wedding?

    This is our American wedding. We’ll host a small reception in  India afterward, once we’ve caught our breath from wedding planning and are ready for round #2

  • What should I wear?

    Our dress code is beach glam. Think elevated, breezy, and a little bit of pizzazz (inspiration)

    Ladies: long, flowy,  dresses,  sparkles, prints, and sequins encouraged!

    Gentlemen: suits, linen jackets, floral/printed shirts, funky ties or bowties

    Cool sunglasses recommended

    We’d love if you could keep it  sustainable. Rework something you already own, or invest in a piece you’ll wear again long after
    our wedding.

  • What shoes should I wear?

    The ceremony will be on the beach so expect sand in your shoes.

    The reception and everything to follow will be indoors.

    We’ll provide you with slippers for the dance floor so you can kick those heels and dance the night away!

  • What will the weather be like?

    Florida in January is  pleasant and breezy, with cooler evenings. Our ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting) so a light jacket, shawl, or scarf is a good idea.

  • Are children welcome?

    We’ve decided to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives parents a chance to relax and enjoy the
    night too!
